Tim English

As managing director of the company, Tim English has made a mission of obtaining experience and qualifications in every facet of financial services provision. In so doing, he has become uniquely placed to advise his clients on any aspect of their financial needs, while he also now enjoys being as highly qualified as it is possible to be in this field. As a result, he has worked with many clients through a lifetime of their financial requirements, typically including pensions and mortgage-related advice, through family protection and the management of inherited wealth, to their own inheritance planning and long term care.

Although Tim thrives on taking a holistic approach, he particularly enjoys advising his clients on investments and designing portfolios to suit each of their needs.

Tim began his career in the financial services sector on completing his degree in maths and management studies in the 1980s. His introduction to the industry was through corporate pensions with Canada Life, which was followed by a period of stock broking, before he moved to Philip T English International Financial Services Limited in 1988. In the ensuing years, he has undertaken extensive training in every area of financial services, and is now a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and a Chartered Financial Planner.
